FEMA Credit Announcement
As of June 1, 2020, Charter Oak State College will no longer accept in transfer FEMA Independent Study (IS) Courses. These courses will also not be accepted in our Credit Registry program. The College will continue to accept the FEMA courses that have been reviewed for credit by ACE. Please note: These are not the same as the FEMA IS courses.
Credit Registry Reactivation
We look forward to working with you again. The registry reactivation fee is required for credit evaluation and record keeping for persons not seeking a degree at Charter Oak but who have completed additional noncollegiate course(s)/exams reviewed by Charter Oak would like the course(s)/exams entered onto a transcript after the initial registry year. Special and teacher credit registry participants may reactivate their registry if they have additional credits from the same original source.
The credit registry payment is non-refundable.
