User-Defined Fields and Elite Paint Options Are Now Available on Gift Transaction Details Window

User-defined fields in the GIFT_TRAN table are now accessible from the Gift Transaction Details window.

Elite Paint options are also now available for the window fields. Right-click on a window field to access the Elite Paint options.

Gift Transaction Must Now have Donor ID

Previously, the Gift Data Entry window and the Gift Transaction Details window would allow users to remove a Donor ID and save the transaction record. Now, an error message will display and the user will not be allowed to close the window until a Donor ID has been entered and saved for that transaction.

Several small functions were broken for the gift entry process. A fix has been made so that the following functions now work properly: double-clicking Advanced Options Available, double-clicking an existing gift transaction to open the transaction details window, and the cursor being placed into the ID field after accepting a gift.

New User Defined Options
New Tab on the Gift Data Entry Window

A new User Defined tab has been added to the Gift Data Entry window (Maintain Gifts window | right-click and select Enter Gift(s) OR Edit Gifts). The new User Defined tab uses the newly added GIFT_MASTER_UDF table. This new table allows users to expand the dataset they can collect on gifts. The Accept Gift function is also available from this tab. If a gift record is deleted from the GIFT_MASTER table, the corresponding GIFT_MASTER_UDF record will be automatically removed.

Once you have a tab selected, you can switch between the Gift Data and User Defined tab using the arrows on your keyboard. You can also navigate through the editable fields by clicking the Tab button on your keyboard.

Your school can now set up user defined form fields on the Biographical Data window.
