My 1098-T
The My 1098-T feature allows a student or their parents (if given permission) to view 1098-T information that has been accumulated for a given calendar year in preparation for claiming tuition paid as a tax deduction. The feature displays preliminary Financial Aid, charges, and posted transactions, including the student's 1098-T Name, 1098-T Address, and information for each required box on the 1098-T Form.
A link to Go to my 1098-T Info is displayed on the My 1098-T Info feature. Clicking this link opens the 1098-T Tuition Statement Data screen that shows the totals that were calculated during the Generate 1098-T’s process that relate to specific boxes on the 1098-T form for the year selected. Each line listed shows the 1098-T form box description and total amount for the year selected.
From the View My Students feature, click the appropriate student name link.
On the student's screen, click the 1098-T Information link.
On the next screen, click the Go to My 1098-T Info link.
On the 1098-T Tuition Statement Data screen, select a year.
Information is displayed if available for the year you selected.
From the My 1098-T feature, click the Go to My 1098-T Info link.
The 1098-T Tuition Statement Data page displays the student's 1098-T Name, 1098-T Address, and information for each required box on the 1098-T Form.
Note
Only 1098-T information for the current year is displayed. However, a list box may be available for you to select previous years' information.
Click the View Transactions link for each required box. This link opens the 1098-T Tuition Statement Box page, which shows a detailed list of transactions that were used to calculate information for the specific box.
You can print 1098-T information by clicking on the Printer Friendly link or the printer icon.
